Ben Thomas is the guitarist for Adele's band. Upon introducing her band at a live performance, Adele referred to him as one of her best friends. According to the book Adele: The Biography, Adele took him with her to meet with the people at XL Recordings because she wasn't sure if they were a reliable record label.

Thomas attended The BRIT School with Adele (as well as her best friend, Laura Dockrill, and fellow performers Jessie J and Leona Lewis).
