Ben Thomas is the guitarist for Adele's band. Adele has referred to Ben as one of her best friends on several occasions. She has brought him to most of the venues she has played at. According to the book Adele: The Biography, Adele took him with her to meet with the people at XL Recordings because she wasn't sure if they were a reliable record label. Thomas attended the BRIT School with Adele, Laura Dockrill, Jessie J, and Leona Lewis.
