Heartbreaking news for Daydreamers today.... In a new financial report from XL Recordings, it has been confirmed that global superstar Adele will not be releasing new music this year, despite previous reports. In honor of her birthday this year, Adele Tweeted, "Bye bye 25... See you again later in the year x". Many interpreted this as a hint at new music, believing that her upcoming third studio album would be titled 25 and would be released before the end of the year. According to the New York Times, XL's most recent financial report has denied the speculation that Adele was releasing this year:

Okay, Daydreamers, now... Don't quote me on this, but there have been some reports that a release date was finally chosen for Adele's highly anticipated third studio album, rumored to be titled 25. Rumour Has It the new album will be released on November 24. Although Adele or XL Recordings have yet to make an official statement, a few different sources have made reference to this possible release date.
It was reported a few weeks ago that Adele and One Direction would go head-to-head on November 24, when both artists release new albums, according to Female First. Many fans were skeptical of this statement, being that One Direction and Adele are both signed to Columbia Records in the US and are the label's biggest artists, along with Beyonc…Read more >
Well, Daydreamers.... There seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel after all. While we haven't heard anything about new music yet, today has been a good Labor Day for Adele fans. THREE new audios leaked online today. Yesterday, a snippet of an unreleased song titled "You'll Never See Me Again" leaked online, and it was later revealed that there was a promo CD on Discogs that showed "You'll Never See Me Again", "Never Gonna Leave You", and "Set Fire to the Rain" as the track listing. The CD was titled Fraser T. Smith Sessions. Soon after, I discovered that "You'll Never See Me Again" and "Never Gonna Leave You" appear on Fraser T. Smith's BMI, although they don't appear under Adele's because she is incorrectly credited as "Adele Watkins…Read more >
Today is a huge day, Daydreamers. First of all, it's the third anniversary of the Adele Wiki. I just wanted to take the time to thank all of the users that help me with the Wiki, and all of the administrators. I cannot thank you enough for all that you've done to make this Wiki so fantastic. I owe you guys so much. Thank you. I also want to thank Adele because she's my inspiration in everything I do, including this. I do this for her. Thank you all for your love and support and for three wonderful years in this community. I love you all so much. Thank you.
As a thank-you to you, I have an exclusive new song from Adele that we're going to premiere right here, right now! The song is titled "You'll Never See Me Again" and was a cut from 21. It wa…Read more >
Well, Daydreamers, it seems as though the wait for new music is almost over. Today, music industry insider Paul Moss posted the registration code for Adele's new album, which we previously reported had been registered without a title and could be released anywhere from now until June of 2015. When asked where 25 (the album's rumored title) was, Paul responded with what was listed, presumably through SoundScan, as he works for a PR company connected to SoundScan, the company that deals with charts and sales and whatnot for the music industry.
It first reads "ADELE LP (14 15)"; this is referring to the release year of the album, which will be either 2014 or 2015. Although it has yet to be determined, it was previously stated that XL Recording…Read more >
For those of you who are unaware, Adele just won a five-figure sum in damages after paparazzi published photographs of her son, Angelo from last summer. Jenny Afia, Adele's lawyer, stated that Adele insisted Angelo never become "public property". She continued, "It is a matter of profound sadness that many of his milestone moments, such as his first family outing and his first trip to playgroup, were photographed and published worldwide expressly against his family's wishes." The damages from the settlement with photo agency Corbis Images UK will be held in a trust for Angelo, and the agency agreed not to use the photos again.

According to the World Music Awards' Twitter account, Adele has confirmed a world tour in support of her third studio album , 25. Although it was reported for months that Adele would be touring in 2015 in support of her third album (rumored to be titled 25 after a cryptic message posted via Twitter earlier this year). The World Music Awards' Twitter account is verified, and Adele has been nominated for several World Music Awards in the past few years, however, some fans claim that this is an unreliable source. Regardless of whether or not this is true, Adele did confirm last week that she will be touring in support of her third album when she contacted a fan and left her a note in which she acknowledged the third album and revealed that sh…Read more >
Another update on Adele's third studio album. Richard Russell, who owns Adele's record label, XL Recordings, recently did an interview with the BPI (British Recorded Music Industry). Of course, the main topic of discussion was Adele's third studio album, rumored to be titled 25 following a cryptic Tweet posted earlier this year. So, what did he have to say about the album? Well, BPI took to Twitter to give fans updates, and remarked that everyone in the room was pressing for Adele's next album release date. Fans across the world took to Twitter to further press for information. BPI retweeted several of the Tweets, but did not respond until they came across a question from one of our administrators, Ichinaru19, that was on everyone's minds: …Read more >
Hello, Daydreamers! Another update on Adele's third studio album. According to an anonymous source who spoke exclusively to the Daily Star (which is not an entirely reliable source, keep in mind), revealed that Adele has not only finished the album, but will most likely title it 25 as expected and "pull a Beyoncé", meaning that she plans to release the album as a surprise later on in the year, similarly to how Beyoncé released her self-titled fifth studio album as a surprise back in December of 2013. While speaking about the alleged surprise release, the source said:

Hello, Daydreamers! We do have some confusing (and possibly unfortunate news). Paul Moss — who was previously thought to be Adele's publicist but has since become one of our top sources for information on Adele's third studio album — has delivered some good news and some bad news.
Today, Paul Tweeted:
Curious about the album, I Tweeted to him hoping for a response. Paul was generous enough to respond and confirmed that it had been registered but had no title yet (which contradicts our previous indication from Adele's Tweet back in May in which she basically confirmed the album was titled 25), and he also said that the album could be due out anywhere from now until June 2015. He said that he believes the album will be out in January of 2015, …Read more >
So, as we all know, at the beginning of May, Adele thrilled her fans when she posted a very cryptic message on Twitter that said, "Bye bye 25... See you again later in the year x", implying that her third studio album was titled 25 and would be released later on in 2014. Some of her collaborators, specifically Ryan Tedder (who previously worked with her for the second and third tracks off of her sophomore album 21, "Rumour Has It" and "Turning Tables", respectively), Diane Warren, and Phil Collins, have all confirmed work on the album had begun and that they had finished their work on it, although Tedder confirmed at the Billboard Music Awards that he was going back into the studio with Adele. Other than that, we have heard nothing from Adele…Read more >
So... Remember when Wiz Khalifa kind of confirmed on multiple occasions that he and Adele had collaborated on his upcoming studio album, Blacc Hollywood? Well... He kind of denied that they ever collaborated today, making him the second rapper to lie about having Adele on an album in order to create hype for it. In 2013, rapper Big Sean hinted at the collaboration following reports that they had worked together due to a comment made by Trinidad James claiming that Adele would be appearing on Big Sean's latest album, which proved to be false. Despite the disappointment we may have, I think it's safe to assume that most Daydreamers will also be breathing a sigh of relief because... Let's face it. Adele's comeback song should NOT have been a …Read more >
Now, Daydreamers, before you get too excited, please note that this is just speculation.
An article was published today featuring an interview with Ryan Tedder, best known for being the lead singer of the band OneRepublic, as well as a successful songwriter for artists like Beyoncé, Leona Lewis, and Adele. After co-writing two tracks on Adele's last album, 21 ("Turning Tables" and "Rumour Has It", as well as producing the latter), he confirmed late in 2013 that he had completed his work on Adele's third studio album, recently confirmed to be titled 25 in a cryptic Tweet posted by Adele the night before her 26th birthday. Since then, Tedder has been dropping hints about the new album, which also was confirmed to be released later on in the y…Read more >
HUGE news, Daydreamers. Adele is coming back. We don't know when, but in honor of her birthday, she took to Twitter to say goodbye to being 25... but confirmed her return to it later in the year:
Yes, it's true. Adele has confirmed that her third album will be out this year and will be titled 25. The title was highly speculated to be 25 due to her naming her first two albums after her age. This is the first time Adele has confirmed anything about the album. Get excited, Daydreamers. It's coming.
I'd say today was a pretty good day. We got a selfie from her and confirmation of the album title and that it will be released this year. Are you as excited as we are? Tweet to us about your excitement and sound off in the comments below!Read more >
Don't get too excited, Daydreamers, but a recent rumor (cue "Rumour Has It") is suggesting that Adele's third studio album will be released in October. Why are we reporting on this after neglecting most of the other rumors surrounding the new music? Well, it was highly reported months ago that her record label confirmed they wanted the album out by fall, if not sooner. And another factor? Taylor Swift is also reportedly releasing in October, meaning that there will be some competition as far as sales go. We found this to be very interesting if it is true. In addition to this, if it was released in October, it would be past the deadline for eligibility for the Grammys, meaning the only work by her that could even be nominated would be the a…Read more >
I just wanted to make everyone on here aware that I'm creating a new policy on the uploading of images to this site. Please 'do not' upload any images to the site that would intrude on Adele's personal life. Big news, Daydreamers!
Adele, who has been pretty quiet since the birth of her son Angelo in 2012, is coming back to the music industry this year. Her publicist, Paul Moss, confirmed via Twitter on January 3, 2014 that she will be releasing this year.
This is our first real confirmation as far as a release date goes. Adele, who will most likely be appearing at the Grammys this year, may confirm something there, with her new album expected to drop between the Grammys and her birthday in May. It could also, although this is very unlikely, come unannounced like her idol Beyoncé's album did. And Billboard has agreed. If anyone else could pull off releasing an album unannounced and receiving the critical acclaim and commercial success it has, it…Read more >
Merry Christmas, Daydreamers! Now, before you freak out, let me just clarify that this has yet to be confirmed. It is simply a rumor, as is any other information we receive until Adele or someone linked with the project confirms it, but... RFM France (the French radio station that first diffused "Skyfall" worldwide) revealed that Adele's third studio album will be released in April 2014. This is just a rumor, but if you take into account previous reports, it would make sense, as Adele originally planned to have it out in mid-2014, according to various reports. If you don't believe us, see this screenshot posted below:
Keep in mind that this is still only a rumor. But it's a bit of reassurance to make your holidays a little brighter. Adele is…

Hello, Daydreamers! It is finally the last week of Christmas With Adele. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I was unable to have a game created like last year, but we do have plenty in store for you!
First of all... We have the results from the Album vs. Album contest, and... No surprise here, the winner is *drumroll please*... the flawless 21!
The next matter of business... In honor of the end of the year coming, I thought we would chronicle Adele's Year in Review. Hello, Daydreamers! Welcome to Week 2 of Christmas With Adele!

For this week of Christmas With Adele, I would first like to again congratulate Adele on her thirteenth Grammy nomination for Best Song Written for Visual Media, for "Skyfall". And that wasn't the only Adele news from this past weekend. Adele was spotted with Simon Konecki at a secret Lady Gaga gig – and actually posed for reporrters in attendance, something she hasn't done since the Academy Awards earlier this year. We got the pictures, too! Our thoughts? Well, not only is Adele as happy as ever, but we also have suspicions that she…Read more >
Queen of the Grammys, Adele, has been nominated for yet another Grammy award. Her record label submitted "Skyfall" for three Grammy Awards this year: Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Song Written for Visual Media. While she got snubbed with the Song of the Year award, it was not expected for her to receive Record of the Year due to the release date of "Skyfall", which barely fit into the time range necessary for pieces of work nominated. Regardless, Daydreamers were overjoyed when Adele was nominated for Best Song Written for Visual Media. While some were disappointed that she wasn't nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance (which she was the first recipient of in 2012 with "Someone Like You" and continued her streak of being …Read more >
Hello, Daydreamers! :) It's that time of the year again... Christmas With Adele is back!

Daydreamers, we have an update on Adele's new album. Unfortunately, though, we're not sure if it's good or bad news. William Orbit, known for working with Madonna, Muse, Britney Spears, and Katie Melua, has confirmed his involvement with the album:
So... What's so bad about this? Well, first of all, Orbit is primarily known for his electronic dance music. He has had previous hits with the likes of P!nk that are not primarily dance, though. Although Adele is not known for dance music, making the combination seem quite strange, it's Adele, so we have faith that it will be musical brilliance.
The other downside, though, is that Orbit and Adele will not be working together until next year, meaning that the album may have been delayed or may not be …

Adele has been unusually busy lately, wouldn't you say, Daydreamers? I mean... As if taking care of her 13-month-old son Angelo with boyfriend Simon Konecki isn't enough, in recent days, she has allowed herself be photographed with her family on several occasions, thanks to the nosy paparazzi over in the UK that are watching her every move. Unfortunately, the one thing they have no photos of is Adele in the studio. Yup, Adele is scheduled to be appearing on The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute to the Beatles. The TV special, scheduled to appear on Foxtel in February (although it could get pushed up to coincide with the Grammys in January) will include covers of songs by The Beatles, performed by today's biggest stars. Adele will be paying tribute to the Beatles along with some of the other biggest artists at the moment, including Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, P!nk, Justin Timberlake, and Bruno Mars. In 2011, in an inte…Read more >
Yes, Daydreamers, I know. After the Golden Globes, Grammys, and Oscars happened this year, the rest of it went by really slowly. Well, we won't have to wait much longer. Hello, Daydreamers. I have some breaking news. Well... Sort of. Thanks to a post my wonderful co-administrator Ichinaru19 made on a music forum known as ATRL, it was brought to my attention that on the Amazon UK Store, there is a new Adele album listed for pre-order. It is titled Look in the Mirror and will be released on December 2nd in the UK (according to other websites, the dates vary depending on where you live). Here's the catch, though.... The album is not being released by either of Adele's record labels. Amazon UK is listing the record label as the mysterious JTJ Records, rather than XL Recordings or Columbia Records. Even more mysterious, for such a major artist, the album is only £6.99. Also, here's the biggest piece of evidence…Read more >

Yes, even more breaking news regarding new music for Adele.... Supposedly, MTV has confirmed that Adele, who is rumored to be working on her follow-up to 2011's record-breaking 21, is working on a duet with Canadian pop-rocker Avril Lavigne. The duet is rumored to be called "Mine".
Lavigne plans to drop her fifth studio album in September of this year, with possible plans to release a follow-up the year after due to her writing so many songs for this one that didn't make the cut. In the meantime, Adele's third album is expected to drop either at the end of 2013 or by mid-2014.

Hi guys, I have some very exciting news to share with you all....

- Adele was featured on the cover of Elle magazine for a special 'Women in Music' issue. Three different versions of the cover were released, the other two…
For once in a long time, I actually enjoyed a performance from American Idol... A lot.
In a performance deemed by many as the best Idol performance of all time – that's 12 whole seasons worth of performances right there, and Glover's was chosen as the best of the entire show. I'd say that's pretty damn good.
Anyways... Glover's "song that she wishes she had written" (the theme for this week's episode) was "Lovesong", originally performed by The Cure, but she did Adele's version. And let me tell you... It was incredible. I was fighting back tears at the end of the performance. It was truly spectacular. It sounded like the record. It did not sound live at all. That's how good it was. Adele would be very proud. In fact, it might be better than Adele's…Read more >
While it is very understandable that music's biggest superstar may need a break following the tremendous success of her sophomore album 21, Adele may be disappointing fans quite a bit; collaborator Ryan Tedder (you may know him better as the frontman of pop-rock group OneRepublic) has recently confirmed that he had contacted her record label, and there is no third album planned for Adele as of right now. She has confirmed that it will happen, but there are no talks of it happening yet. Then again... He was "quoted" as saying this, so it may not be true, although he'd probably be one of the first to take to Twitter to deny the news.
While it may be a long time before we hear new music from Adele, wedding bells may be in the air. A source has …Read more >
Hello, everyone. :) If you haven't noticed already, the Wikia Content Team, specifically, JoePlay has gone way out of his way to re-design the Wiki for us. I had decided it was about time for a change in the Wiki's color scheme and design and enlisted his help to re-design the Wiki so it would have a "Skyfall" theme. :) I am very pleased with the work he has done and I cannot thank him enough for all the help he has provided for this Wiki.
When the Wiki's design was changed, I manually had to go through and change the template borders for a lot of templates on this Wiki, so... If you see any templates that have a border that does not match the current link color (in other words, it will probably be a shade of light green), please comment belo…Read more >
"Producers are thrilled by how well the song has been received and hope Adele’s presence in the next film will replicate that success", a source has stated. Yes, various news reports are stating Adele has already signed on or is in the process of signing on to sing the theme for Bond 24 following the success of "Skyfall". Late last year, Daniel Craig was quoted as saying that he desperately wanted Sam Mendes to direct the next Bond film after the success of Skyfall, and he wanted Adele to sing the theme song again. “They want her to become as synonymous with Bond as Dame Shirley", the source continued, making reference to Shirley Bassey, who sang Bond themes for three films.
The film is due out by Winter 2014, which could imply a late 2013 or ea…Read more >
Adele has already dominated the Grammy Awards, the Brit Awards, the American Music Awards, the.... okay. She has dominated just about every possible music award show there is. And back in January, she dominated at the Golden Globes, making it her first film-related award that wasn't awarded by a critic's choice organization.
Speculation came in mid-January that Adele would perform "Skyfall" live for the first time at the Golden Globes; following a lack of Adele performing at that, rumors spread that the Grammys would mark her comeback performance following her pregnancy in 2012. When that didn't happen, it was confirmed she would be at the Oscars, the biggest film award show out there, to perform and hopefully accept the award for Best Orig…Read more >
