Fraser T. Smith (born 8 February 1971, Taplow, Buckinghamshire, England) is an English record producer, songwriter, mix engineer and guitarist. He is responsible for co-writing Adele's successful third single from her hugely popular album 21, "Set Fire to the Rain", with her. He also produced and mixed the song. Some of his other work includes working with Adele's friend and former BRIT School classmate Leona Lewis.
On September 1, 2014, the songs that Smith recorded with Adele were leaked onto the Internet. It was revealed that they actually collaborated on three songs, although only one ("Set Fire to the Rain") made the album. The other two songs were titled "You'll Never See Me Again" and "Never Gonna Leave You". Some of the lyrics from "Never Gonna Leave You" were used on songs that were included in the final version of 21.
