|Song by Michael Jackson|
"Thriller" is a song recorded by American recording artist Michael Jackson, composed by Rod Temperton, and produced by Quincy Jones. It is the seventh and final single released by Epic Records from his 1982 studio album Thriller. A 14-minute video showing Jackson in a Halloween-themed performance premiered on November 14, 1983. It was first shown on MTV on December 2, 1983. The song was not released as a single until January 23, 1984.
Adele partially covered the song on her An Evening with Adele tour; most of it was an instrumental interlude that served as a tribute to Jackson, but she did sing part of the verse of the song. She also danced along to the song at one point. Adele described the video for the song as her favorite music video ever and said she had about 100 cousins and arranged a flash mob to this song with them.
