Good news, Daydreamers! It seems as though Adele has indeed named her baby and may have shared it with us, as she was seen sporting a necklace bearing the supposed name of the baby.... Angelo. Aww, how cute! Let's hope that this is the real name so we don't have to keep guessing. Sources close to Adele have told British tabloids that they were informed the child's name was indeed Angelo. It is unknown if this is the real name of the child, as Adele and her representatives have not commented on this matter yet; Adele did state at the Golden Globe Awards almost two weeks ago, though, that she was not sharing his name at the moment and that it was too personal for her. It is also unknown if he will be taking on Adele's last name (Adkins) or her beau, Simon's last name, Konecki.

In other Adele news... After weeks of speculation, an official statement appeared on her website today confirming that she will be performing her single "Skyfall" at the Academy Awards next month, on February 24th, 2013. While this is exciting, this also implies that she will not be performing at the Grammy Awards this year (set to take place exactly two weeks before, on February 10th, 2013), which will make them far less exciting than last year's. A live performance of "Set Fire to the Rain" received a nomination for Best Pop Solo Performance at the Grammys though, so it is very likely Adele will still appear at them, as she is expected to win that award. (Her only competition at all is Kelly Clarkson, but she doesn't have much of a shot at winning the award, either. The other nominees are Katy Perry, Rihanna, and Carly Rae Jepsen.)

We wish Adele the best as she prepares for her performance, as well as handling the press, who is bound to be hounding her repeatedly in the coming days on whether or not her child is really named Angelo. We'll keep you updated on all these exciting Adele events as information becomes available to us. :)

UPDATE: The little guy's name has officially been confirmed to be Angelo James Konecki! =)
