We have some really exciting news for Daydreamers everywhere.... Singer-songwriter Sia, known for her work with Beyoncé, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson, David Guetta, and pretty much every other pop star on the planet, has worked with Adele. Now, don't get your hopes up; the only confirmed song they worked on was cut from 25 at the last minute, but it will be released as the lead single from Sia's upcoming seventh studio album with Sia's vocals on it instead.

In an interview at the Venice Film Festival this past weekend, Sia spilled the beans on her upcoming seventh studio album, This Is Acting, a fitting title considering the album features songs that Sia had written for other artists but that she decided to record for herself. The album's upcoming lead single, "Alive", was co-written with and for Adele for her upcoming third studio album, but was cut at the last minute, prompting Sia to record her own vocals for the track and add it to her album. Speaking about the track, Sia stated, "It's about [Adele's] life, so now I sing a song from [Adele's] perspective."

This will be the first song co-written by Adele to not feature her vocals and be written entirely for someone else. Hopefully, "Alive" will also given fans insight into the sound Adele is aiming for with her third record, scheduled for release in November.

"Alive" will be available for digital download September 26.
