Now, for those of you who don't know, Sony is the parent company of Columbia Records, the record label that distributes Adele's releases in the US. Sony owns a site, Open Mic, that is "an exclusive, invite-only, online community where you are asked to give your opinions on what Sony Music is doing." Now, granted that few people actually qualify for the site when taking the entry survey, it is pretty exclusive to get in. But one of our friends over at ATRL managed to get in and has been a member on there for a while.
Earlier this week, he told us that he received an email from this site with a new survey, and upon clicking it, he was pleased to discover that it had to do with Adele and her music. Here are some of the questions that he was asked:
He also told us that they had previously asked about a live performance DVD from Whitney Houston and ended up releasing it 3-4 months after they published the survey. Hopefully, if that is an indication of the timetable, we can expect a new Adele album by the end of the year!
Until then, however, please enjoy this video of the legendary Stevie Nicks dedicating her performance of "Landslide" to Adele at Fleetwood Mac's concert in London earlier this week:
And if that still isn't enough, please enjoy this selfie that Adele posted with Stevie Nicks on Twitter earlier this week:
