The British singer, Adele was the popular choice for film fans and came first in the poll by website IGN.com.
Adele has been rumoured before to be recording the theme song for the 23rd 007 film but producers have denied any knowledge of this.
Muse came second in the vote while Foo Fighters came third, U2 were fourth and Florence And The Machine rounded out the top five.
Arctic Monkeys, Lana Del Rey, Guns N' Roses, Yeah Yeah Yeahs' singer Karen O, and Rihanna made up the rest of the top ten.
One person who is definitely behind Adele is Tom Jones, who backed the star to sing the theme song.
The Welsh singer, who sung on Thunderball, told The Sun:

Not that she needs it but Adele would be the perfect choice for doing Skyfall.
Adele sparked rumors that she had signed-up to the film's soundtrack last September when she told Jonathan Ross on his show that she was set to record a "theme", before saying:
