After four years of endless waiting, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. We can finally confirm that Adele has finished recording her third studio album and plans to release it in November, according to Billboard.

This past week, fans were ecstatic to learn that Entertainment Weekly’s latest issue features a list of must-hear fall albums, and of course, at the top of the list, is Adele. While some fans questioned the validity of Entertainment WeeklyRolling Stone further picked up on it and included her at the top of their list as well. Soon after, NME and Billboard were also reporting that Adele would be releasing an album this fall.

Earlier today, Billboard editor Jason Lipshutz posted on Twitter: “Also wrote a longer piece about Bieber for this week’s issue, along with One Direction and *gasp* Adele previews. All online soon!” Of course, some fans interpreted this as an indirect statement that he had heard some of Adele’s new music or had previews of it coming soon. Regardless, he later satisfied fans with an article confirming that Adele’s new album will be released in November, and that, in addition to previously reported collaborators Danger Mouse and Ryan Tedder, Max Martin and Tobias Jesso Jr. have both penned tracks for the new album as well.

This would also support previous reports from Hits Daily Double indicating that Adele was eyeing a pre-Thanksgiving release date for her next album.

It sounds like the wait is finally over, Daydreamers. And with an album expected to drop in November, it’s plausible to assume that we will have the lead single very soon. Who else is excited for new Adele? Sound off in the comments below!

Update: And if that wasn't enough confirmation for you, perhaps this will be. Thanks to one of our lovely Daydreamers over at ATRL, we have confirmation  from one of Adele’s best friends via his Twitter that she will indeed be releasing an album in November. It’s finally happening!
