I just wanted to make everyone on here aware that I'm creating a new policy on the uploading of images to this site. Please 'do not' upload any images to the site that would intrude on Adele's personal life. I had made the mistake of uploading images of Adele and her mother Penny to the site without realizing that the original source of the photos before they leaked to Twitter was supposedly a family member of Adele's Facebook account. They had posted photos from a family gathering and some of them made it onto the Internet, including some images of Adele and her mother.
We were contacted by someone – possibly Adele's mother – who kindly asked that we remove the photos from the site as soon as possible. The images have been deleted and should remain deleted. I have a very strong suspicion that the person I talked to was Adele's mother because she referred to the pictures of Penny that she wanted deleted "my pictures". Regardless of whether or not it was her, it was uncalled for, but I feel especially bad if it was her because I would never want to offend Adele or her mother. I have the utmost respect for both of them and I don't want to intrude on their personal lives. I never would've posted it if I would have known the original source of the image. Adele's family should be entitled to use their Facebook accounts without having their photos taken and leaked onto the Internet. It is 100% uncalled for.
To Penny and Adele, if they ever see this... I just want to apologize from the bottom of my heart. I have the utmost respect for the both of you and I cannot blame you for being upset. My intent was never to offend you – the images were posted for informational purposes, and I posted them without taking into consideration the fact that these photos may be personal photos. I should have respected your privacy and as a fan and loyal Daydreamer, that was very wrong to do. I sincerely apologize and I want you to know that my intent was never to upset you. I feel awful and the fact that I may have offended a person who has changed my life in so many positive ways and inspired me, and her mother – it just really upsets me and I'm so sorry that I did that. I hope that you can find it in your hearts to forgive me. This will not happen again. Thank you so much for your understanding.
Anyways... I just wanted to make the users on the Wiki aware of that. I know it was not anyone on here – it was my own fault and I apologize from the bottom of my heart for that.
